Who Does NVTI Train?

While NVTI does not work directly with veterans, we train the personnel who help veterans find and retain gainful employment. While many participants in the NVTI program are Disabled Veterans’ Outreach Program (DVOP) specialists, Local Veterans’ Employment Representatives (LVERs), or Consolidated staff, others do not fall within these three categories. NVTI has trained a variety of veterans’ employment and training professionals, including (but not limited to) employment service personnel, veterans service organization leaders, federal and state staff, and Department of Defense personnel.

What Training Does NVTI Provide?

NVTI offers both generalized and specialized training for DVOP specialists, LVERs, and Consolidated staff members. It also provides generalized training for other individuals within the veteran employment service provider industry. NVTI’s training curriculum is designed to ensure that participants are trained in competencies that meet their clients’ needs. Training is delivered in a variety of modes, including on-site classroom sessions, distance learning, microlearning, podcasts, and webinars.
